How to record a lecture hall

- Phone flat on the desk, microphone unobstructed. Not in a bag, not under a notebook.
- Record audio, not video. Same transcript, a fraction of the file size, and the limit is 4 GB.
- Start before the lecture does. The first two minutes usually contain the exam-relevant admin.
